SLUMBER Calls It Quits
January 2, 2011Swedish melodic doom/death metallers SLUMBER have officially called it quits. The group's long-awaited new album, "Resonance", has been re-titled "Skylight" and will be released in the fall under the new band moniker ATOMA.
ATOMA (MySpace page) features former SLUMBER keyboardist/vocalist Ehsan Kalantarpour alongside Rickard Insulander, Siavosh Bigonah and Markus Hill, among others.
In other news, former SLUMBER guitarist/vocalist Jari Lindholm has launched an as-yet-unnamed new project. The band is scheduled to enter the studio in two weeks to begin recording its debut album. More information is available at this location.
SLUMBER's first and only album, "Fallout", was released in 2004 via Karmageddon/New Aeon Media.
